Sunshine Village Ski Resort Review

Sunshine Village is a must go resort while visiting Banff and offers a diverse range of terrain to delight every skier. Offering some of the most breath-taking views, you definitely know you’re deep into the Canadian Rockies here at Sunshine Village.

Sunshine Village – Top of Standish

There are some amazing steep and extreme runs off of Goat’s Eye and Lookout Mountain that will thrill the most hard core expert and extreme skiers. However, the mountain is quite approachable for beginners, intermediate, and normal advanced skiers as the Gondola whisks everyone up to the central, mid-mountain lodge.

One thing everyone will notice is how friendly and welcoming the Canadian’s are. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to meet a few locals, and see why Canada is one of the friendliest places on earth to ski.

Meet new friends and have a warm drink at the Old Sunshine Lodge

If you’re looking for a true on-mountain lodging experience, you can stay right up on the mountain at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, or enjoy all the great accommodations found in Banff or Lake Louise. If you have the adventure for a mini-safari, you may enjoy staying at Fairmont Banff, then Sunshine Mountain Lodge, and then Fairmont Lake Louise – I think that would be a smashing amount of fun, and a “tasting menu” of sorts to try out the Banff ski area.
