Porsche has lead this class of SUV’s for performance and styling for many years offering best of class handling dynamics, acceleration, comfort and style. Today they offer both the standard and coupe styles opening the range to buyers seeking a sleek style, more sports forward stance.
Like the Macan, the Cayenne is notorious for defying all physics and delivering a rather large SUV that can out-perform many sports sedans. To get this level of handing, you will need to upgrade a few suspension elements to maximize your dry land performance. For an extra $10k USD you can upgrade to the off road Sports Chrono, Air Suspension, and Dynamic Chassis Control System. You might as well spend the extra here as if you’re buying this level of SUV, you really need to maximize all that it can offer. So, you’re looking at a true entry point on this SUV running about $92,000 and about $100,000 for the Coupe. If you really want to go crazy you can get in at over $200,000 with the Turbo GT
Obviously this SUV is aimed at those who can afford such a luxury SUV, but if you can, this is the one to get!
Like the other Porsche line ups you get a range starting from the Base Model, S Model, GTS Model and Turbo Model. You also get a choice of hybrid here, which is quite nice for our good planet. Like many in the premium luxury SUV’s you get enormous HP up to 670 HP that is silly goofy, and quite impractical for the real world… it’s more about what you can afford… and letting people know you can !!
The bottom line is that the Porsche Cayenne is the best handing, highest performance full sized SUV on the market today. I do wish I had the extra $120k or so laying around to get the one I’ve picked out.
Here is a good video review from the web:
