Beaver Creek is the more “upscale” sister resort of Vail offering a more exclusive ski experience. Although the resort is smaller than Vail, it’s quite large and offers a vast array of terrain to delight all levels of skiers. One of the key stand outs for Beaver Creek is the ultra long groomer runs that literally go on for miles.
This is really a destination resort onto itself, and there are some very high end hotels, resorts, condo’s and private homes all designed for a ski-in / ski-out experience. If you’re staying at Beaver Creek you may be tempted to test out Vail since it’s so close, but in reality there is no reason to trek beyond the resort to find all the best skiing.
The resort is geared towards intermediate through advanced level skiing, but does offer a good selection of runs for learn to ski beginners as well as expert skiers looking to test their skills on the steep and deep.
