Acura RDX 2022 Review

Acura has one of the best reputations in the automotive industry for delivering great performance, mileage, and reliability… all at modest price points. This makes the RDX one of the more practical Compact Luxury SUV’s on out top 10 list. With 8.2 in of ground clearance with plenty of cargo room the RDX also offers significant utility.

Although you don’t get the high end road performance of the Porsche Cayenne or BMW X5, you do get a confident, comfortable, and capable luxury SUV feel on the road.

There are 5 main models to select from including the Base RDX, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance. In addition they offer a limited edition PMC that has all the goodies. All models have a 272 HP engine that gets you 0-60 in 6.4 seconds.

I found that the A-Spec is good for my needs, and with a couple of added options my build came in at $47,000 – which is a solid $10,000 less than the average in this category. Also, unlike many in this category the packages really offer a good array of options, so you won’t find yourself going nuts on adding a ton of additional options. This really keeps the RDX in the affordable range.

If you’re looking for a lot of value with high quality, longevity, reliability, comfort, style, smooth suspension, and more than capable utility the Acura RDX should be on your short list.

For the best snow performance you need to upgrade to the AWS systems and ensure that you’ve selected highly rated M+S snow rated tires. Just like all SUV’s in this category, tires really make all the difference when it comes to gripping the road on snow and ice. We do recommend checking out Tire Rack’s Website for really good reviews on tires to help you select the best model
